Ebony Dew is a Sunny Coast local artist with a fun and relaxed creative flair. Each of her watercolour paintings are so unique. And now she is coming to the studio to give us an idea of how she does it.

Ebony will explore themes of balance as you move from freedom flow work, to more structured line work, using ink pens. Then you will incorporate all of the learned techniques, to develop our final piece- a flower portrait. Flower portraits are a fun way to connect with ourselves and nature, and incorporate loose watercolour techniques with more direct line drawing. Celebrating you and your individual expression, we will learn to drop the outside world’s version of “perfect art”, in fact - we will make a damn mess, and we will learn how to get comfortable making what the mind calls “mistakes”, or “ugly, but what the heart calls “expression”.

All materials are provided, you need only to show up, open as yourself. Small Ayurvedic sweet treats will also be offered along with warm chai to sip while we create. Frames are available to purchase for your work for $25 (A4) or $20 (A5).
